Field Sales Manager

Location: London

Salary: Up to £35k + an excellent commission structure

We are are looking to recruit a Field Sales Manager to join our Commercial Waste Team.

You will be required to source new business and sell to all industrial and commercial customers within a pre-determined geographical area in London. Likely customers will include Facilities Management, supermarket chains, hotels and Government institutions, so you will ideally have direct experience in these markets.

You must be assertive, self-motivated and sales hungry, with a proven record of success within Sales. You must also be reliable and willing to work as part of a team. Excellent organisational and communication skills are also essential.

There is a good commission structure on offer which you will be expected to take advantage of.

This is a challenging role that will require forward thinking and good experience in relationship management to produce the profitability and growth of existing key accounts and new business alike.

Previous experience of working in the Waste Management sector and disposal/recycling market is absolutely essential to be considered for this role.

This fantastic opportunity offers an excellent package of 30K-35K basic salary dependent on experience, realistic commission bonus up to 50K, car, phone and other benefits to be confirmed.

This is a field based role and requires a pro-active and self motivated individual who is not work shy. The successful candidate will offer a total waste management solutions package to all types of clients from hotel chains, supermarkets, waste contractors and large blue-chip organisations.

We are currently looking to employ a Dustcart Driver to cover London and the South East. The role requires an individual with experience of driving Dustcarts to carry out our collections.

The right candidate will be required to drive a vehicle in a safe and courteous manner across South London to collect wheelie bins and bales from various business addresses.

You must be familiar with Inspecting and maintaining vehicles supplies and equipment such as water, oils, fuel, tyres, brakes, lights etc to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness. Full compliance regarding Safe loading and unloading of vehicle and the ability to obey all road traffic signs and road transport legislation are expected.

The Driver is also tasked with ensuring the vehicle is maintained inside and out and kept in a good, clean condition as well as the completion of all paperwork in a legible manner whilst reporting all damage to the vehicle, any accidents, mechanical problems and stops by police and VOSA throughout the working day.

To be considered for the role, you MUST hold a current HGV license, minimum group C, with no more than 6 penalty points or a disqualification in previous 10 years along with a current Driver Certificate of Competence card. You must be willing to undergo further training as and when required.

Team work, initiative, and customer service skills, being able to listen and react to what has been said and most importantly to be able to communicate in both written and verbal forms is paramount to this position.

Starting salary is £30k+ which is negotiable dependant on experience. Overtime and Bonus scheme are available.
